The Government of the Republic of Suriname has adjusted the entry requirements for travellers as of January 15, 2024.

Entry requirements:
1. Valid Travel documents as follows
- Passport
- Return Ticket
2. Proof of valid E-TOURIST CARD OR E-VISA (for visa-obliging persons)
Persons who are travelling for TOURISM purpose are required to apply for a E-TOURIST or E-VISA online via the online application APP from VFS Global Suriname
The received valid ENTRY FEE-VOUCHER should be presented at the incheck counter of the airline upon departure.
Note: The W confirmation numbers is not accepted as an approved Visa. View here the notification
3. Proof of vaccination for YELLOW FEVER
Travellers who are arriving within 6 (six) days after leaving from or transiting countries with risk of yellow fever transmission need to present a YELLOW FEVER Certificate.
The Yellow Fever certificate must be issued at least 10 (ten) days before arrival in Suriname. Surinamese Residents and diplomats accredited in Suriname are exempted.

1. Valid Travel documents as follows
- Passport
- Return Ticket

The Yellow Fever certificate must be issued at least 10 (ten) days before arrival in Suriname.

5. Travel Insurance with worldwide coverage
6. Proof of Financial means to cover the period of residence in Suriname
Please note: The above requirements no. 3, no. 5 and no. 6 do not apply to holders of a Haitian passport, who are in possession of legal residence status for Suriname.

3. Print Copy or Digital image of the online completed Immigration ED card
The Immigration ED card must be completed prior to the departure of the flight to Curacao.

A print copy or digital image of the online completed Immigration ED card should be available for the Immigration upon arrival in Curacao.
Exempted from completing the Immigration ED card are
